“Made Ready” Campaign
STARBUCKS x CHANCE THE RAPPER
To promote their ready-to-drink line of products for Summer 2021, Starbucks partnered with Grammy award-winning artist Chance the Rapper to launch the “Made Ready” campaign, to highlight how artists and creators were made ready for success. Here’s Chance on what it means to be Made Ready, in his words:
“I feel like I’ve always been ready for the moment and made for the situations that I’ve been in,” he said. “I think being made ready is an understanding of who you are and knowing that whatever you are going up against that day, you will prevail.”
“Every [big] moment has that moment before where you might feel butterflies in your stomach or feel groggy in the morning or the weight of the world on your shoulders – and every person that’s made it out of that had to remind themselves that they were already ready for that situation and that they just had to go out and do it. That’s kind of my situation.”
#MadeReadyDuet TikTok Challenge
In addition to the hero video, we created a TikTok challenge asking artists and creators to duet with Chance the Rapper and show how you’re made ready. By dueting with Chance, creators entered a sweepstakes for a chance to win a fridge full of Starbucks ready-to-drink products, and a facetime from Chance the Rapper himself!
